Crabgrass: This grassy annual weed germinates in our region in mid-April. The best way to combat crabgrass is pre-emergence in late March to early April according to soil temperatures. Timing is everything!
Dandelions: This broadleaf perennial weed first appears in spring and will continue to grow throughout the growing season if left unchecked. If fall prevention was unsuccessful, springtime post-emergence is the next step when weather conditions are favorable.
